It will just be an informational statement that I completed the ownership change but am still the owner and no terms of the lease change including where they remit rent.

However, I am wanting to take the abandoned houses and revamp the town.

What are the advantages of doing a BRRRR on an existing property vs. buying the land and building a new house from the ground up? 

To give you some background, I'm an investor developer, where we do land development projects typically for multi-family housing. 

This was before i wanted to be a rental property owner, and was intended for me to live in. 

I would mention here that a typical condo or single family does not qualify for the Act 60 TOURISM tax credit (which gives you up to 40% back)  - the project needs to meet certain qualifications as a guest house, hotel, villas or bed & breakfast - it can be as little as 3 rooms.  

We’re house hacking a duplex here and we’re ready to buy a second home in Florida.

I’ve already paid money to the new owner for all the deposits.

The house on one side is nearly 500k and the house on the other side is about 700k.
