It's a shame because they are going to waste the next 4 years in school, hopefully without student loans, and then go into the field with zero experience.

Im a young college student looking for someone who has started investing in real estate who can actullay help me get started for real.

I have about 12k in cash/investments but 20k in student loans and have only been working for a little shy of 1 year.

If student housing is less profitable than apartments but you're excited to tackle each day, is that ok? 

Greeting Everyone, new here and trying to weigth my options:  wife currently has about 15K in private student loans at a 12% interest. current payment of about $225.00 is mostly going into interest. i am trying to clear the way fast from debt to move onto bigger better things such as of course real estate/rental properties. we have received a few quotes on HELOCs (Current equity about 70K) with an interest rate of 3.4% for first 6moths and then 6.4%.we are planning on aggressively attacking this debt. does this plan make sense? 

It is clear going in that you are the "student" but don't make it simply about that.

FSU has had an explosion of student housing.

The reason for this was because I was accepted as a transfer student, due to my high school's dual enrollment program.
