When I first got the property every time I turned on the fan it tripped the GFCI and thus shut down the fan and the living room outlets.

I also own a number of rentals with long term financing in place, but I also believe in having more than a few free and clear properties as well in case the s--t really hits the fan.

I will say that I'm not the biggest fan of 2/1 houses, because generally you have a limited market for both renters and buyers.
