And while you likely can’t be added to the mortgage directly, you’d have some options around either owing the partner a personal debt that is in lockstep with the mortgage (also attorney written) or you’ll need to refi out of the first mortgage and get another that you’re on (but will probably be mostly based on your partners’ credit histories)At the end of the day, get in touch w an attorney and they’ll guide you through it all.

I would threaten them with eviction if it continues but I am sure you have tried this.I have a property management company for allMy properties so I wouldn’t be able to go to much into the process and I have been lucky enough not to have an eviction yet.But, i have read about a great strategy that maybe someone else can touch on here.

@Patrick Drury I thought about using the funds for the purchase, but my understanding is that I would have to move it to a self directed IRA and the I can't touch profits until I reach a certain age.
