The Tipping Point is one of the most influential books I've read.I suppose I could list 30 books if I wanted.I've never read any Rich Dad books, mainly because I find the author to be dubious.

I am very interested in getting into positive investments fairly quickly and was wondering if any of you could give me some tips or advice on the subject of investing.

I am going to be meeting with a real estate agent to look at some distressed properties and want to know if anyone has tips about how to estimate the cost to repair any damages to the property in order to figure out if the property is worth the investment.

As for tips... if you decide to work with the Section 8 program, take the time to learn about the roles and responsibilities of all parties involved - case managers, inspectors, tenants and landlords.
