He feels it is too big, not walk-able to destination activities (restaurants, movies, parks, grocery stores, etc).

Word gets around, kids talk, social media rules, you don't want the reputation of being a pain in the *** landlord, it will hurt your future ability to attract good tenants.

He just threw it out there as is for NNN leases & nailed a Dollar Store & a couple of smaller businesses who all rehabbed at their own cost. 

Justifying it by saying “yes you pay for some heat but in trade off you get access to a very efficient AC unit in the summer that you don’t have to install/uninstall/store every year.”

The only upside is our tenants are really going to bat for us on social media (which we are avoiding because of the risk of this mess getting even further out of proportion).Has anybody been through anything like this?

I also think you’d be better off (business) leasing a new Model 3 Standard Range for tax reasons, but pls consult with your tax professional. i think you can still opt for the cheapest Tesla in-store and not online.
