You need to have the refinance details already planned out.

All counties have their own rules and contact them to get the details like frequency, the time, and where they are held,Most counties have what is called a "redemption period" of time that the previous owner will have to pay the taxes that are owed.

I am sure there are more details I'm missing but I would love to hear anyone's contributions on this. 

Owning apartments and currently in the process of doing my own value add to increase the rents for valuation purposes, I would recommend to do a very detailed due diligence walk through of the property with at least 3 contractors (if you are unsure yourself) to get a good scope.

They have a decent reputation and have been around for awhile so am not too scared about that but just first time dealing with a PM.
