Or, real estate is a fine asset class and historically has been a solid hedge against inflation.

Also, I had to fire the Property Manager that came with the purchases as they were extremely non responsive to my inquiries.

You can get solid cash-flowing single families in the 90-120k price range and duplexes in the 130-180k price range.

All of these are reasonable things for a LL to cover.One way I help control repair requests is to include clear statements about what I am responsible for and what my tenant is responsible for.
