.- Don't let a long list of repairs scare you - make updates and repairs over time.

Don't be scared to ask the seller to fix many of the things on the inspection report.

What scares me with condo's is the lack of control over choosing when to sink money into large building upgrades like roof and exterior as that is controlled by the strata (I think thats the same as HOA fees in the States).

But circumstances and how you feel you can demonstrate intent are what will rule the day.Job, health, and life circumstances all cause us to re-evaluate our life.

I think the owner is scared but it’s putting my deal In jeopardy.

I am familiar with West Monroe, Louisiana and that alone would scare me off this deal just because of the fact that it's 12 old homes there.
