Hi I wanted hear about people's experience getting approved by HUD to be a property management company for a HUD-operated building.

Carrie - I understand that in Fl you need a GC to legally do your rehab, permits will be required, then make sure your contract clearly states that the GC has the contractual responsibility to obtain final permit approval(s) and occupancy permit.  

Both told me because I get paid by the miles & not by the hour, can't verify my income to determine what I can be approved for.

Board approval could take months.

So I was talking to my local Real Estate Agent and I was telling her that I was interested in looking at Foreclosures/REO property’s I was recently approved for a 203k/Conventional HFAloan. and she said Because so many people’s ability to earn income was impacted by the stay at home order, the gov’t forbade lenders to foreclosure on anyone.

I was just pre-approved for my first investment mortgage. 

I'll be buying it cash so any rent will be earned income aside from the $70 or so taxes monthly.if it is already inspected and section 8 approved all the better, just have to find out when the last walk through/ inspection was.How are the rental rates for 2-3 bd 1 bth in those areas?

Has anyone experienced longer than usual approval times for new section 8 tenants?

If she's not a part of the LLC (a big part most likely), then the bank won't approve and that would almost definitely trigger the due-on-sale clause.

Do they require your approval prior to repairs etc?
