they are messing with the electric, they shouldn't be touching anything like that without your consent, hopefully you have that in your lease. take pictures of what they did and send an email to Daddy with a copy of the lease part that says they can not make alterations to the house without your consent and pictures of what they changed and CC " your Lawyer"  - either for real or make your own lawyer email, but document everything. once he sees the lawyer is involved you may stop hearing from him.

At this point, I assume you already received a document title "Notice of Appeal."

After the purchase, while going through HOA documents, i came to know that the HOA community doesn't allow rentals.

Try blocking pop-ups.Most of the time you can highlight the text you are interested in, copy it, then paste it into a blank text document created by the windows notepad or similar text editor.

I would also request documentation like leases and the whole tenant file (I would want to see if they pulled credit and background check on tenants).

They will document all the damage to determine the cause of the problem and negotiate with your insurance.

If their honest and provide all the documentation you need (i.e. rent rolls, tax returns, past and present invoices, etc), then it's just a matter of going through the numbers.

If the lien and documents filed to obtain the lien were filed incorrectly, then a lawyer may be able to invalidate the lien - but the cheaper option is just to pay it, get the lien removed, and move on.

@David Marsceau At the assessors office, there should be an Address on file for where the important documents on that house go.
