Realtors relist properties to "refresh" them and don't always add those DOM up.

*******But this is the kicker, and i need some real advice on this:apparently there was a revision to the association bylaws and they no longer let any owners rent out their units if they purchased on 6/2005 or later. everyone else before that date is grandfathered in so they can continue renting.NOBODY told me about this. not my relator, or my attorney. i even asked my realtor about rents in the beginning because i wanted to make sure it wasn't a co-op and the seller's attorney said renting is fine.so you can expect how shocked i am when i went into the office today to receive my new homeowner's welcome kit and she mentioned the new resolution to disallow any renting of units. she said my realtor and/or my attorney should have made me aware of this.i feel like i got majorly screwed. what am i going to do with a 2BR/2BA living by myself?

:roll: Spending a day with a realtor would be good if...that realtor has stuff to do that day.

You already have access tothe listings and don't need to "team up" with a realtor to help you find deals.An associate of mine who was a lender and is now aninvestor said, "I got tired of loaning money to peoplewho didn't see how valuable the deals were they were bringing to us.

mslady22,I agree with Ohio Realtor in that you need to do some more research and not put too much on the line with a first deal without some more education and a higher credit score with which to work.

But I have to drag all the information out, like DOM, what's the motivation, they can't get in because of the other realtor not calling back...the list goes on.

You must have dependable and skilled birddogs, lenders, interior designers, budget/site managers, contractors, realtors etc… 3.

Secondly, after all the speedbumps I hit and overcame in the process, I have a much better respect for the work a realtor does for you...
