I've never been the landlord for a commercial property but have leased commercial property before - I leased through a commercial real estate agent who was acting as a leasing agent for the property owner, and the property owner was the one who collected my rent and is who I made repair requests to so personally haven't dealt with a Commercial PM before but will continue to follow this thread to learn more!

While I might be new to this particular market, my roots in real estate run with a history of commercial real estate investments in India.Currently, I have my sights set on the Hartford market.

My husband and I are looking to buy our first ever real estate investment out of state (we live and rent in NYC. we do not want to buy here due to high cost of properties and high tax rates).

I've done research in finding and analyzing properties so I feel somewhat comfortable in that regard.Here is a sample scenario below of a real property I've done some analysis on.

@Jitao NiuBeing that it is a local bank - I would make an appointment with a real estate loan officer at the bank and go in and speak with them.  

That is pretty much how I came to the number but please remember this is a real quickie rough estimate. 

I have a real estate meetup in Jupiter at the locomotive coffee the second Tuesday of each month from 8:30-10am.  

Besides this, rather boring, pastime of writing code, I also happen to be extremely passionate about real estate, more specifically multifamily and I decided to launch a new project to develop an MVP of software solution that is tailored to the needs of property managers.
