Again, that's a question for code enforcement, but if its a short period of time and doesn't look unsightly, you should be ok to store it there.

A landlord must send notice to a tenant that includes a detailed list and description of the property, the location where the property will be stored (and possibly storage costs if incurred) and a time frame in which to claim the property after which how the property will be sold or disposed of.

Crime, drugs, hookers with scams, meth addicts, arson, corrupt police in the neighboring town (South Coffeyville Oklahoma), the occasional flood, the hot and humid summers, bad roads, no decent restaurants, less grocery stores, etc.The joy I get is when Louisiana contractors that rent from me every few months bring me 10 lbs of boudin and gator meat in exchange for rent.

This past Wed they put up a fence and didn’t notify me and didn’t leave  us access to the barn where I have all my building materials and other tools stored.
