I've seen people bring in temporary steel (for clearance reasons), jack up the entire floor 1/4" per week to level (could require 3-4 pieces of steel and multiple posts) and then correct the failed beam and put everything back.Since you've already done some modification to the support, this may not work.In any event - it sounds like it may be cheaper to address this from the top down (removing the floor) vs attempting to find a contractor in your area with the correct insurance and training to do this without long-term repercussions.

For those people who have different interests, no time availability, and no knowledge in the industry, STR managers make a lot of sense and will make them more money than if they attempted themselves.

(On that note, if you are going through with 506c, check out Parallel Markets, their process is similar to VerifyInvestor, but there are many advantages I found in my conversations with them).Another option, particularly for those that are technophobes or generally have trouble with the process is to attempt to forge a partnership with an attorney to perform these verifications for you.  

If you find local agents that do a lot of them, you could attempt to research what they are doing for marketing that is proving effective. 

No one from their company reached out or attempted to correct.

We did receive an email a few months ago from Aurora City Gov asking to verify that the Airbnb was in our primary residence, so it seems they are somewhat attempting to enforce that rule.

It is my humble opinion that investors will (subconsciously) attempt to pay someone else to help them overcome their fear of missing out, making a mistake, losing money, being humiliated, or whatever. 

After being licensed 15+ years myself I have seen more people attempt vs pass their state exam. 

One thing to be careful with when attempting to get financing in addition to what the hard money lender provides is that the hard money lender doesn't have any stipulations that would prevent you from being able to do this.

Someone with boots on the ground and skin in the game is a key component to building that successful operation and something I will require if I attempt to do another long-distance investment.
