They wreck havoc on all things plumbing. 

I’m trying to put together a offer currently but have question on some stuff like when was the last time the roof we replaced/repaired, what kind of plumbing, wiring, etc. are these due diligence question that should be asked after offer is made to the agent/realtor?

Hello,I am vetting tenants to fill in a vacant apartment that has no dish washer.I am impressed with a particular tenant's profile who has been pushing me for a dishwasher and he is even willing to bring in a portable dishwasher.There are few limitations I have in terms of space and don't want to mess around with plumbing system.I just want to know if it's okay to have a portable dishwasher and if there are any issues that I need to be aware of having a portable dishwasher.Appreciate your feedback.Thanks

At your age and with your dad's remodeling connections, I'd learn a skilled trade (electrician, plumbing, HVAC etc.) that would put you front and center for lots of renovation projects. 

After the plumbing backing up three times in the last two months with just normal use, we have had two plumbers confirm that the main line is clogged with broken pieces of toilet. 

One of the contractors said they had a new machine that could do epoxy lining of the cast iron plumbing system underneath the house.

Too, there are some advantages in the winter, as one unit has heat on and that helps keep the vacant unit a little warmer and water moving in the plumbing, so lower odds of frozen pipes.
