When you walk through a  rental property you always want to run the sinks and showers to check the water pressure, open cabinets and windows, check the lint trap for the dryer, etc.

If the reported income is fraudulent, you should 1) call the police and 2) tell that person  you were born at night, but not last night. 

Many new investors are falling into that trap!

I’ve been investing in Rochester for 17 years and there are many traps here.Whenever I hear someone from downstate saying they want to invest in western ny, they are usually doing so because they want “cheap” properties because the cashflow is absolutely bonkers.

I visited the area when I purchased and to me, a born and raised NYCer, it seemed safe and actually pretty nice.
