@Ronald Perich makes a great suggestion on attending the MEREIA meeting.  

I recently joined the local REIA (TREIA) and am attending as many of the meetings as I can.

This is what I thought, I may not attend then.

We would certainly attend the meetings.

Call 4-5 find out what they think of the area, what they see properties that size selling for per unit and what the expenses are per unit by category.Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info.Good LuckPaul

You may even want to attend open houses as an undercover rental applicanat.

I've been to one CT REIA meeting so far earlier this year and plan to start regularly attending and making introductions.
