Conventional lenders will require you to apply personally and only use 1 unless you need two.Back when I was brokering if partners came to me and wanted to do a joint loan I advised to put the financing in just one person's name if the numbers work since you'll double the number of financed properties you can have.

You may even get push back on having no experience unless you're buying a turn key hold.My best advice to a new investor:1) Open an LLC for Real Estate transaction2) Open an account at Experian and keep an eye on your credit and know where it is3) Save as much capital or if you have a wealthy sibling or family member and you never asked for anything and you were waiting for maybe the perfect joint venture then now is the time.

Not an engineer by any means, but I would be suspect of a cantilever wall, like above, but if that's what you build....You most certainly do Not want a construction joint as shown, you want one continuous pour for the wall.
