Alternately, you can form a 3rd account under the plan for just that project, use that to handle the single shared investment, and then kick investment returns back up to your respective participant accounts periodically.

I decided to pass.  1st of all I depend on her to paint and clean between tenants to keep our costs down.  2nd if she doesn't feel safe I don't want her there, and we respect each other's opinion.Not saying that is the only way to live.
