I finally figured out my problem (with a little help from Sara May at Podio)When you go to the "email to app" option it gives you an email address in the top area that is unique to you so others in your organization can see who is adding items to an app (this was the forward to email address I WAS using), below that is a "public email address" to add items to the app.
