It's so hard to decide.

It will be investment property if i decide to make a move on it.

This weekend, I decided it is time to jump in, introduce myself, and see how I can help others and continue my education into the real estate investing world. 

I am a long time podcast listener and lurker, but I have a serious question now as I am helping a friend with decided what to do with a house he has in Oak Park Michigan. 

Just a lil about myself, I am a recent graduate (October 2017), live in New York City but move from Massachusetts where I go to school to SoCal California to live with a friend that currently goes to school in Los Angeles.Anyways my issue is after I move to California I started to work in December as a data center technician contractor in Irvine, the job lasted for 3 months since it was a 3 month contract, I’ve been researching about real estate since I started the job then decided that I wanted to invest in it.I devoted all my time and effort since March into real estate to learn and network, went to one meetup in Irvine, met the guy that hosted the meetup (Great Guy!)

If you decide to sell, I know a great agent up there that I went to school with :) 

these are tough I have done a few over the years. your just buying an undivided interest.. we have been successful in getting the court to force a sale ( but and its a big but).. we also had an agreement when we bought the undivided interest to put the property on the market and sell it.. the other party decided NOPE don't want to sell now..

If you decide to go turnkey I would recommend Memphis Invest or Maverick Investment. 

With how hot my market is right now I am lucky that I don't have to pay more than asking price so I decided to continue moving forward with the deal and will slowly make the repairs. just wanted to share this lesson that I learned the hard way.
