I think there are some major cities that would be mentioned first, if you asked people in other countries about American cities: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, San Francisco.....I think all others would be talked about later.

I also just got (days ago) approved for an Australian AMEX card using my established good credit history here (I live in Australia).Now I want to use American Express's service where they facilitate an application for credit in a new country (the US in my case) using one's established credit in one's home country (Australia for me).

I just finished Scott Trench's book "Set for Life" and let me start by saying it is a awesome read and I fully recommend it to anyone and everyone.In the book Scott bashes on typical retirement plans such as roth IRAs, 401k plans, and etc. and considers them a foolish investment that majority of Americans fall victim to every day.

What we've experienced so far, is that my attorney gets Powers of attorney that has to be signed in person at the Consulate or American Embassy in the country where the buyer or seller is located.You could either ask the Title Company to prepare all the documents and either email or mail to the seller and have them all signed and mailed directly to the title company or hire a real estate attorney for few hours of work!
