The practical reality is that lenders will allow you to pay off the hard money loan but not get your rehab money out until you've owned the property for 6-12 months (varies by lender).

Where you can find tax information varies by county. some have it on-line, some you have to go to the Courthouse and look it up there.You can find current mortgage rates by Googling it or looking in the real estate section of the paper.
