Your husband is on a valid course, the questions should be what properties, located where, what kind of properties and how to leverage the acquisition and how to maintain the portfolio as an earning asset.We just can't get specific unless we have alot of information, but I doubt, for your purpose, you really need to go much further.

Most of them don't have any assets I could put a lien on and Texas doesn't allow garnishing wages for this purpose.

So currently we have multiple layers of reserve:- Cash reserve: we move 100$ per door to that reserve account until it hits a certain limit, when it hits, we can use the extra fund for other purposes.

For conventional purposes it probably is but just make sure the Loan officer sends the HOA a condo questionnaire.
