If the joint venture was for projects overseas, would it be better to establish the JV agreement here or in the country of the project.Any absolute no nos as regards JVs that you know of?

I am a recent college graduate without an established career.

With that being said, I've got a lot to learn, but am willing to put in the work!

Even with cities like Sandy Springs and Brookhaven, at least there was an established commercial tax base that already existed to support incorporation. 

If you are able to get a loan and insurance in the name of the LLC (even recourse, personally guaranteed) I'd definitely establish it first.  

It's easy to just update once you establish it. 

Welcome to BP.I'm a bit South of you in the greater Singapore area...I can't say that I would ever advocate buying locally in any of these countries for long term cash flow, especially when you have established RE contacts (family) back home...and more especially when you're going to be throwing enough USD around within a 36mo period to generate 10k/mo cash flow.That said, I don't work for one of the largest brands known to man nor do I give excellent TedTalks, so perhaps you know what you're doing after-all :)You're an asset here at BP and I'm sure others, along with myself, would be interested in hearing what you're doing there in Vietnam.  

If you are new to this, I suggest you find a good title insurance company and establish a relationship with them (you will need their services nearly every time you trade real estate).
