Add dry cleaning lockers, e.g.

Hi gang - I'm in Ireland for the summer and have a vacancy in my KCMO duplex.  Can anyone recommend a good handyman/contractor that can assist with the move out repairs?  If you are one just let me know and I can forw...

I can write off a ton of it because of the costs of maintaining the house, furnishing it, cleaning fees, etc. etc., whatever's left over I *believe* gets taxed as ordinary income.  

We bought a piece of lakefront property, cleared it, cleaned it up, and made a pretty good profit off of it.

I have since found out that they have added additional materials for the flooring job which I wasn't told about and in the contract it says the price is labor and materials included so I don't know how they can add materials and more labor to the job later on.

This is the approach I took with my Pooler house: buy under market value, renovate (new paint, new floors, etc) and rent. 

What makes you think that the floors need to be jacked up and "fixed"?

I'm currently in the middle of a minor remodel (windows, floors, paint) that should come out to cost about $9K.

City of Cincinnati will usually reduce the ticket by half if you clean it up and send a picture.
