On paper, it makes sense to use such a service to have a predictable cost allocation towards maintenance.

The one thing that I do see on here that would give me pause is that, although I love NC, I absolutely despise doing business in NY.

I don’t see the sense in paying off my own house at presumably low interest rates, and exchanging that for a higher rate, variable interest line…unless I have a really good plan for not losing my house.
