We brought the property to our friends who are seasoned Flippers "Garth & Gina".

As a result of my attendance at the club, a realtor brought me some deals - owner financed properties that I got at 5% and 10% down. 

Have you brought up the issue directly with the "DST sponsor"?

We brought the house back to it's "craftsman" roots and made it cute and liveable.

I think once you have modernized the unit and brought it up to date the value adds are mainly to make it easier to rent, increase rental revenue and set your unit apart from others.

Not only would I love to know thoughts on the new tax bill and property ownership, but just the profitability in general when it comes to PITI and then tax returns (I pay no state taxes on income thanks to FL residence).Would love any insight on how to make either a reality (or to be dissuaded and brought back to reality lol)As always, I really appreciate the attention to detail and deliberate effort this forum goes to in order to provide guidance.
