lolThe rule of thumb I've heard is that they are suitable for homes with public sewage but not for homes with a drainfield because they debris they create fills up the tank.That being said, I grew up in a home with a drainfield and a garburator (I think I like that word!)

As someone who grew a property management company from scratch to manage student housing at Rutgers, I am torn on this issue.I either get clients who have struggled and thereby created a mess that I always untangle and make smooth, or I get clients who have never owned anything and don't understand how much work goes into it or the dynamics of the area.I think one poster put it perfectly earlier:"Time is money.
