They have failed to renew my entities with the Secretaries of State multiple times, have billed me wrong amounts, and GREATEST OF ALL, have cost my business ~$50K in cumulative TAX PENALTIES due to negligence in filing for a tax extension, failing to walk me through my tax filings and needed payments, and failing to file an abatement promptly.

Have proof on hand (easy enough to find) online of the missed tax payments and any documentation that supports that he specifically didn't pay his taxes.Probably a simply mistake on his part, but now if he wants to develop on it, he either has to land lease it from you or buy it back.I'm not sure how the whole tax deed thing works, so that would be something you have to figure out between the two of you.

Specifically, must this be a commercial/business loan type where you have higher rates and shorter loan life or is there an alternative loan type? 

My advice would be to specifically retain a potential eviction attorney from the start, in order to be prepared for how this *may* go. 

You usually cant go wrong with modern / contemporary.

Listen to podcasts, read books, and if you plan to invest in the Netherlands find some resources that speak to that market specifically.

I very well could have done it the wrong way, but this was just my experience.

The two things that will determine the listing when you go to list for your specific house, it is price and condition.

The reason I ask is if you're starting a "non-real estate" business, I'd recommend NOT using that business to buy any properties but use a real estate specific LLC to acquire your properties.

I'm specifically looking at a property on Lake Monroe.
