Entity Transfer - Loans

Evan Miller
Posted

Hey!,

I am wondering if anyone has expertise or experience with entity transfers and the loan options available?

Specifically, must this be a commercial/business loan type where you have higher rates and shorter loan life or is there an alternative loan type?

My interest in entity transfers is the ability to forego a massive increase in the tax bill upon reassessment. Any insight is appreciated!!

A classic drop n swap, what has been referred to in the previous mentions. I have dealt with this type of transaction many times. You can only do this with a commercial loan. However, I do have a lender that can conduct an entity transfer with a commercial loan from 2 units and up. Let me know if you are interested in discussing this option!
