Unless someone knows different it seems this work has transformed the community into a solidly C class area, still poor but gang activity is down.

If the East New York rezoning  goes through I think it will have a very trans-formative effect on the area in a good way.  

I had definitely seen worse rehab houses than this one, but started to wonder if this “former contractor” would be able to transform this house into something like one of the comparables in the neighborhood without breaking the bank.

I agree with Jean, if you can transform the property into an income that will give you a great return long-term.  

This could be pricy to install, but for the right property, it could completely transform the visual appeal. * I love seeing flags outside of people's houses.
