You can rekey your own lock easy.  

Will need a locksmith to release the riding gate padlock etc.For a while it seemed they were never gonna get a rental but i had to brag about them when the next landlord called.

They will assist/meet you at the property "with persistence"... and allow you to change the locks(have a locksmith ready to assist).

Locksmith fee listed in lease?

This way we can easily set new pins for new tenants, don't have to call locksmiths, can create pins for handymen/cleaners, etc2.

We were not able to get in to see the house, and of course because it is bank owned, the listing agent wont be able to get a locksmith in until Monday.The part that seems fishy, is that both properties had offers on them within days of going on the market, and both were listed for well below market value, likely to get lots of offers quickly.

When you have a turnover, and the current tenant moves 3 states away, they still will use their high priced locksmith to rekey two locks, and charge you $80.00 an hour for that.  

I’d love to have something with a master key and also something thats easy to re-key.- landlordlocks.com seems like a great option, although their website is terrible which makes me question their professionalism - anyone have experience with them?

My new locksmith try to convence me to install those system on one of my unit and might be others as he explaint to me I keep one key for all units as master key.

I wonder what would happen if you 'broke' in (got a locksmith to change the locks) while they were out and said the same thing?
