I will be the majority shareholder in the new company, but I do not have a Broker or Agent licence (But I do have a San Diego resident who is a licensed broker) who will be a stakeholder in the new company.My question is can i as a non resident of USA be a shareholder in the new company and then qualify to work for the new company?

If it were me I'd either call his cellular about an hour after lunch, but not too much after and just talk and find out what HE means by this.Then ask about grabbing a lunch somewhere together tomorrow--he might want you to work for him too--so be ready for that.I say that because you have to know your trade if you are going to contract, and some require a licence and X years as an apprentice.Good Luck!

@Anna Laud hit the nail on the head, the other option would be to do it as a FBN  (fictitious business name) file that and then put the account in your FBN.
