In keeping up with my score on Credit Karma, yesterday I had the shock of my life ... my score dropped down to 634 within the past 2 weeks :(  I let a cell phone bill of $98 hit my credit report, which I believe caused the dive (paid it off yesterday). 

I like to not have all my eggs in one basket.I've listened to tons of podcasts from BP and reached out to a lot of people but i havent been to in an person REI meetup in stl, i will admit that.

That way you can force the appreciation on several deals and not just putting one egg into one basket.

And, unlike most condos, you get to garden, collect eggs from the chickens, make messy projects in the shop downstairs.

All your eggs in one basket is fiscally poor thinking.

@Federico Morales you are in the envious position of being handed a goose that lays golden eggs, but you are not seeing in those terms. 

It's a very old property (late 1800s), so I will be wanting to set aside a good chunk of money in a reserve account for maintenance and Capex.I'm currently self-employed and write off everything under the sun (that's legal, of course) on Schedule C including all home office & related deductions, most of my automobile miles, cell phone, etc, etc, etc. 

If you are still with in the thirty day time frame I would wait it out leave a voicemail on their cell etc.
