Because you are house hacking it will get a little bit tricky because you will likely be separating the proportion you rent out vs what you live in.Definitely talk over these concepts with a CPA.

I'm not an expert on taxes, but wou,d generally expect the taxes to go up proportionally with the property based o  the ARV.

As a buyer, it's a time-suck of epic proportion to sit around all day analyzing deals on the computer and making lowball offers to agents who won't take you seriously.As a seller, even of a distressed property, I wouldn't be counting on an OOS buyer, sight-unseen, without tons of verification.
