A property's tax bill would increase as a function of roughly two things multiplied together:1) How much that property's value has increased relative to other properties in the same jurisdiction.2) The overall increase in the jurisdiction's budget from year to year.If your value is going up in dollar value but percentage-wise it's roughly the same percentage as everyone else's property the main relevant factor is #2.

I think that is what I was trying to get at in my earlier posts.There is a multiplier effect in that if you give gift cards with pleasurable associations they have been shown to give a greater effect than if you were to give a comparable amount of cash.

I suggest getting the going rate for contruction with like materials and craftsmanship per sq foot. multiply that by the size of the structure to come up with aprox replacement cost.
