My friend Robyn Thompson just started up a REIA club down there called GoREIA, you should check it out. 

The lawyer said there are 1000s of transactions going on where these rules are not being followed and there are probably gray ares if someone wants to challenge, but thankfully my husband had the years of experience and we had the assets required to make the class A licensing possible with a just a few prep classes. 

@DJ Thompson  personally I think this is one of the better coined terms on BP and one of the best things those starting out can do... certinaly beats in most instance's trying to buy some low end rental

While @Grant Thompson is certainly correct in saying that there are tons of free resources and meetups available, and that should absolutely be utilized, how long will it take you to meet the right people or absorb the knowledge needed to succeed in multifamily?
