Take it with a grain of salt: I'm out of state, investing in a pretty good area, and leaning on advice/impressions I have gotten from my realtor (@Rob Drum and my pm @Mark Byers) both of whom grew in in Bham.In general, I would say the average area Birmingham has a more crime than most comparable cities, but it tends to be petty/random, as opposed to gang-related/organized.

Personally,I would just keep using existing agents for a while longer.There is always a young and hungry agent desperate for clients to keep their boss of their backs about drumming up new business.

Well averaging about 3 posts a month is probably part of the problem.Not really engaging with anyone so you aren't going to get much out of it.Taking a quick look at your stuff what I see is limited posting, most of those are in the marketplace (So not bringing "value" just trying to drum up business), no blog, no comments on member blogs or the main blog, no picture, no description of your business, only contact info is a website...Why would anyone reach out to you?
