also a real melting pot. .here.. what I have noticed is the middle class Chinese are really travelling with their families have not seen that in the past.. 

Lots of Chinese money and established SF families and investors buying all cash.

I have built in FLA and in those build to rent or starter homes we do build them to the absolute minimum standard .. tiny kitchens Chinese granite cheap builder grade appliance minimum windows per code etc etc.. its the only way you can get to the price point that will make sense for a buy and hold investor..

Cheapest place I ever stayed: years ago, somewhere in northern Laos, $1/day guest house, outside shower with c-o-l-d water, and a bunch of hard drinking Chinese loggers staying nearby.
