It's good to know the stuff they teach, the knowledge you will acquire is very helpful.

But eventually you will find the right 3 or 4 or 6 that teach you what you want to learn or introduce you to the people you feel you need to know to start your career in real estate.Eventually, you'll learn who the best teachers are so you can take seminars from them.

JamesAfter 40+ years and 200+ of my own rental homes in Northern California, and teaching on his subject for 30+ years here are some things to ponder:I have nothing against buying notes, but I would rather you buy real estate with seller financing and buy back at a discount later.  

I feel that working together one-on-one will teach me much more than I can learn by reading books.   

However with a teaching salary I am not able to qualify for a traditional loan amount large enough to buy a single family home.
