A lot of people make it seem like this:1) see obnoxiously grassy lawn2) knock on door3) see a visually distressed owner4) ask if they want to sell their home5) they say yes6) get them to sign a contract for me to acquire their home for 30% off the value7) pitch to buyers8) sign contract to buyer.9) send docs to title company10) receive cheque...and BALL OUT/ReInvest lolI feel like this is partly true but maybe missing a step or two.

I'd say, if you vet a syndicator and ask them about the pro's and con's of the deals, and get a realistic list of both, that's a good sign.

In QuickBooks Desktop Version 2018 there is a button that you can click on that says Bounced Check and it will automatically back out the transaction

Hi BPers,I'm gearing up for a direct mail campaign and I realized that I was a bit unsure about how a subject to transaction would work in DC, due to the fact that DC charges a pretty hefty transfer and recordation tax of 1.45% on each side of the transaction (2.9% total).
