Hi Jake, I like yourself was in my own head and wasted several years of being too nervous to jump in but a house came along and my brother and I together made the leap and took money from our retirement to make the move.

Some people get nervous when it comesto septic but they are pretty simple systems really.

They're going to want to change things, you're going to be nervous you'll get laid off, etc.Tenants will worry about the rents being raised, and inevitably you'll be in a situation where that's necessary. 

Honestly, working w/ a management company really makes me nervous for all the same reasons you stated above. 

Im very nervous and excited all at the same time!

For applicants who were nervous we'd raise the rent, I just put in the agreement that rent would not be raised for 12 months, as someone else mentioned.What I learned, is that a lease really only protects a tenant.  

I dont necessarily want them out, Im just nervous about walking into an unknown situation.  

I'm a little nervous but over the nervousness and ready to jump in ASAP (responsibly). 

@Ley Nezifort one of my tenants is a nervous single mother of a teenager and I know she struggles financially, so I usually get her a $50 gift card.

Im looking into doing it too but with it being gas I was kinda nervous.
