My lender just told me that 2nd home liens are required to pay points.

Just want to be careful on which broker/lender you use because some of them have a prepayment requirement and try to stick you with a 3-5 year prepay.There is also a 40 year I/O interest only but its only fixed for the first (10) years.Make sure you know how many months reserves they require before you get to deep into paying for the appraisal and then find out the deal is cancelled in underwriting.

Additionally, I collaborate with various lenders to facilitate transactions.

Hello Lenders,I am interested in buying half of a duplex.It will be sold and recorded in the county as a single unit.Wondering if the half unit can be cashed out refi, and how the process goes?

His primary mortgage was sold to a private lender in the early 2000s and he claims he had to give an explanation each time as to why he financed with a private lender with such poor reputation every time his credit was pulled.
