Occasionally there might be a blip that delays the closing briefly and they often will not even ask to get the paid extension (Which is good since the times I have bought them it seems to take months to get any unused potion back).

When I followed it more closely, it seemed to depend more on the source of the funds ... meaning who was extending the credit on the back end.For example: Quill, who I believe self-funded the extensions to small businesses, pulled from DNB.

if it's a point or 2 to extend the loan for another few months, that'll be cheaper than refinancing with your broker...especially if you're confident the house will sell quick..if i was a hardmoney lender in this economy, i wouldnt' care how i got my ,money back, as long as i got it back from someone...i'd talk to a smaller, local bank...however, if you do think it'll sell quick, i think it's best to just keep with the hadmoney loan if the extension isn't that costly
