Good thing we had enough money to keep us going (paying the mortgage and everything else) while going over budget and extending the renovation process for more than we would’ve liked. 

I just started toying with the idea of moving to Montreal or Gatineau when we return to Canada from our extended trip.

@Cory Lucas to add to Andrew's Q's, if you looking at commercial lending for BRRRRs also ask if the payment is interest only, for how long (I always do a minimum of 12 months so I don't' have to rush projects, tenanting, or refinance), and if you go over the time limit... what is the cost to extend the loan rate (this can get pricey!).

If he or she has been doing this for any length of time, then your client probably recognizes that the odds of them staying for an extended period of time is low.

bottom line  Appriasal didn't come back for 6 weeks,  had to extend the closing twice , once because during the home inspections, The addition that had been put on was not permitted, so the seller had to get permits for that.  

You’ll be glad you did if you extend or go MTM.
