Review the amount of notice you have to provide the tenant regarding this; in many states it's 30 days (in my state it's 60 days).It's easiest (and quickest) because actual evictions are either on hold in many places or so slow it can take a long time to get your property back.Unfortunately if the tenant does not respond to your request within the required time period the next step would be filing for an eviction.Until this notice expires the tenant remains in control of the garage.
