Barb, first thing are these mobiles taxed as RE or personal property?

Was thinking about putting 3 trailers/mobile homes - sure the neighbors would not be so happy and zoning would probably be like no way.Just wondering if anyone has any ideas of how to pursue this one & maybe whether it is worth pursuing?

I don't know if that tag isn't working because I'm on my mobile or what, but he is a respected member here and does turnkey rentals in Memphis, TN where that 20K will take you further than you think.It's been a couple years since I've been to his company's site as I moved out of the area, but from what I know of the Memphis market, he may have something to buy for 20K, but I know you could at least get 40-50% toward something with that amount.

I'm working on 2 mobile home deals in a MHP and need another opinion of the investment value.1. 2005 SW 3Bd/1Ba, good condition selling price: $15,000 already rented for $550/mo.I can purchase this mobile home for $15,000 but it requires me to withdraw the $15,000 from my investment portfolio for with a 15% tax income tax penalty.

Never invested in mobile homes, but do have three single family rentals.
