Hey James,As a new gulf coast local I can suggest St Pete Beach above all by personal preference, but there is a string along the beach from there to Clearwater: Indian Rocks, Reddington, Madeira (which is closest to John's Pass) any many more that you may consider.My wife is a RE agent in New York and North Carolina and completing her Florida license on August 2nd.

Why would you locate yourself in New York where salaries, office space, etc. are sky high when you could operate in the same time zone from Detroit and have far less overhead?

Most of the jets that I know of that have been converted to cabins had to have a new nose cone fabricated.

New rent laws recently went into effect in New York State on June 14.  

@Alexander George I feel different - the more opportunity for us in New York is higher.
